Cry Me a River, David Ortiz

ESPNBoston: David Ortiz tired of negative reports

You play Major League Baseball at the highest level, in a major media market, in front of the sport's most passionate fan base.  You're like gods to everyone & everything you say & do gets scrutinized a hundredfold. With that comes extreme highs & extreme lows. When things are great, it's heaven on earth. When things suck, it can be a "sh-t hole", as Big Papi so elequently put it. Either way, you're at the center of the baseball universe.

Now that the Boston Red Sox aren't as dominant or as lovable as they used to be, you tell us you're tired of all the negativity, that "people need to leave us alone and let us play ball". Awwwww.

Earth to Ortiz: You do know this is your tenth year in Boston, right? It's not like you were born yesterday. No one with an ounce of common sense is buying this "woe is us" nonsense. You know exactly what you signed up for when you seek the highest level of fame, prestige, & the challenge that goes with it.

So f-ckin' play ball. And win some more games. That's what you're f-ckin' paid to do anyway. Nobody's stopping you from doing your day job. You don't get paid extra to be a publicity hound.

Dan Savage Must Love Harleys

MEDIAITE: Dan Savage Calls Gay Conservative Group GOProud 'House Faggots' for Romney Endorsement

Yes, it's OK to slander your fellow gays when they don't conform to your political views. So what if that makes you just another hypocritical little faggot*? After all, those little gay Republican p-ssies deserve it for even daring to be a minority within a minority, regardless of its futility.

* And by "faggot", I'm going by the South Park definition. BRRUB BRRUB BRRUB BRRUB BRRUB!!!
